I have a map

I have everything I need. I have a map.
Today the weather was too beautiful to stay inside, so at 10am I declared we were taking a field trip to Conner Prairie. We packed a lunch, loaded in the van, and spent most of our morning in a big tree house in the woods.
Lucy picked up a nature backpack and found a paper inside which she continually "consulted" so she could direct us as to which trail we should take next. Any time I offered to help her with something she always replied, "I have everything I need. I have a map." Considering this statement came from my 3 year old who was wearing a back back the size of her entire body, this was comical. But as she continued to say it over and over, I felt God speaking hope into my heart.
You see, I woke up feeling a bit lost today. Some choices I have made recently have left me with an unfamiliar mindset and an off-balance outlook. This morning I woke feeling far from the joy of my salvation and not knowing exactly how to get back.
But...I have everything I need. I have a map. Thanks for the reminder, Lucy.
Psalm 119:105
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.
Isaiah 30:21
Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying,
"This is the way; walk in it."
